This is a temporary, full-time vacancy that will close in 12 days at 23:59 BST. The Vacancy Malaria Consortium is recruiting a Project Officer to join our team in Ethiopia. The role will be based within South Ethiopia, Wolaita zone, in 2 districts. The postholder will be responsible for providing technical support, coordination, and implementation of all project activities in their respective project zone and districts. Qualifications and Experience Master\’s in Field Epidemiology, MPH, or related health disciplines At least 5 years’ experience working on Malaria Surveillance and outbreak emergency response Knowledge of project management techniques and tools Familiarity with the Ethiopian health system Experience working with government and non-government partners to deliver project objectives A qualification in public health and project management Knowledge of malaria elimination strategies, emergency response, prevention, and control policies Experience designing and implementing behaviour change communication activities Experience working in community-based activities Flexible and adaptable to various working conditions Capable of working with tight timelines Work experience in South Ethiopia is preferable Additional Information We are committed to safeguarding beneficiaries.
