Experienced and passionate Immunologists sought for Translational Development of Therapeutic Cancer Vaccines. Epitopea is an immuno-oncology company with lab operations in Cambridge, UK. Our founding scientists at the Université de Montreal have identified new sets of potentially shared tumour specific antigens (TSAs) opening the way to a new generation of cancer therapeutics. Epitopea is funding discovery of further TSAs, prioritizing the most translatable and aims to exploit them for cancer therapy via therapeutic vaccines and other modalities. Epitopea is backed by a world-class syndicate of life-science investors and its approach is now validated by our signing of a collaboration agreement with a leading immuno-oncology pharma company.
Responsibilities: We are looking to build a translation biology team to support the transition of our therapeutic cancer vaccines into clinical development. In the short term these roles will involve validating antigen immunogenicity, but in 2026 we will be moving into the clinic and the primary focus will become assessing vaccine-induced immune responses to the cancer antigens included in our off-the-shelf mRNA vaccines. We are looking for skilled people experienced at working with human T cells and screening assays for these lab-based on-site positions at the Babraham Research Campus. The ideal candidates will be team players with exceptional attention to detail, good time management skills and relevant immunology experience. Experience working in regulated environments and with clinical samples is preferred. Successful candidates would join a collaborative and ambitious team with a synergistic range of skills and backgrounds.
