What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions and support project delivery across major UK and international assignments
  • Work on the design, analysis and checking of structures across sectors — from bridges and tunnels to retaining walls and marine works
  • Undertake calculations, use a variety of design software and apply international design codes and standards
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and clients
  • Contribute to managing time, budgets, and project resources efficiently
  • Adopt the standardisation and peer review of technical work to uphold design excellence
  • Make positive contributions to health and safety on projects and across your work priorities health, safety and wellbeing, by reducing and managing associated risk

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in civil or structural engineering (postgrad qualifications welcome)
  • A proactive approach to become a Chartered Engineer (ICE, IStructE)
  • Experience designing complex structures (foundations, bridges, marine structures, etc.) using steel, concrete, or composite materials
  • A good understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and advanced numerical modelling
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes and international design standards
  • Proficiency in finite element analysis software such as LUSAS, Midas
  • A collaborative approach with excellent communication and writing skills
