Leading fashion retailer have a great opportunity to join them as an Area Manager to lead their store teams across the Midlands.
About the Role
Competitive salary plus car & package. You will have the following skills and responsibilities:
- Excellent communication skills and be the key link between stores and head office
- Deliver KPI’s and sales targets across the area
- Lead, motivate and manage a varied team across your area
- Have the ability to plan and organise effectively

- Ensure compliance across your area
- You will develop the retail management team through support and guidance and regular branch visits
- Arrange structured visits to the stores within the area to improve performance and support Store Managers in carrying out their duties
- Take responsibility for the development and succession planning of Store Managers through coaching and empowering them to manage their stores effectively
- Maintain regular communication with the Retail Director
- Act as a link in the chain of communication between the Store Teams and Central Support Centre
- Be aware of, and communicate to the appropriate departments, the developments in the local market place
- Develop action plans with Store Managers and Coach Managers to exploit local market opportunities
- Take a leading role in setting business objectives and budgets as well as agreeing with Store Manager plans and strategies to achieve the same
- You will be responsible for the smooth running of the stores executing a strategy that ensures all sites run at a profit, maximising brand image and team development and training
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Area role managing 15 stores plus is essential
- Fashion experience preferred
