We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a successful Training Organisation that delivers a wide range of Apprenticeship programmes. They are looking to appoint a Head of Sales to lead their business development and employer engagement strategy, driving performance and revenue growth.
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience as Head of Sales, Head of Business Development, or Sales Director within the Apprenticeship landscape.
- A proactive approach to business growth with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets for Apprenticeship uptake.
- Experience in securing new Levy and SME employer accounts for Apprenticeship delivery.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
Role Overview:
- Identify and develop strategic relationships with large Levy employers to promote training programmes: Apprenticeships and Commercial provision.
- Manage a business development team, performance manage, and ensure active driving of Apprentice starts.
- Engage with employers to discuss training and recruitment needs for existing staff and Apprenticeship recruitment.
- Advise employers on the Apprenticeship Levy and funding reforms.
- Deliver business growth presentations at senior levels.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions within set timeframes.
- Forecast and plan for industry changes and growth opportunities.
- Stay informed about policy and funding changes relevant to the role.
- Report sales data and forecasts to senior management regularly.
