About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Group and Events Executive to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Effectively handling incoming short lead event space inquiries
- Maximising booking conversion opportunities
- Ensuring contracts are issued and signed in accordance with agreed procedures
- Ensuring that the event planning team receives a complete file handover
- Assisting the G&E sales team with the creation of proposals and contracts
- Aiding the event planning team with day to day tasks such as BEO’s, invoicing, deposits, rooming lists, menu printing etc.
- Sending out daily reports to hotel departments
- Being the main point of contact for internal departments
- Working closely with and communicating effectively with the hotel sales team to support sales and marketing plan objectives
- Sending out weekly BEO’s and daily change logs to relevant hotel departments
- Printing all event menus and place cards and other general event stationery
