We are recruiting on behalf of a successful Training Organisation that delivers a wide range of Apprenticeship programmes. They are looking to appoint a Head of Sales to lead their business development and employer engagement strategy, driving performance and revenue growth.
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience as Head of Sales, Head of Business Development, or Sales Director within the Apprenticeship sector.
- A proactive, 'hands-on' approach to business growth with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets for Apprenticeship uptake.
- Proven ability to secure new Levy and SME employer accounts for Apprenticeship delivery.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
Role Overview:
- Identify and build strategic relationships with key Large Levy employers to promote our client's training programmes: Apprenticeships and Commercial provision.
- Manage a business development team, performance manage, and ensure active drive for Apprentice starts.
- Engage with employers to discuss training and recruitment needs for existing staff and new Apprentices.
- Provide advice and support to employers regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and funding reforms.
- Develop and deliver business growth proposals and presentations at senior levels.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions within set timeframes.
- Forecast and plan for industry changes and growth opportunities.
- Stay informed on policy and funding changes relevant to the sector.
- Regularly report sales data and forecasts to senior management.
