Job Purpose An opportunity to join an established and growing organization as a Principal LCA Consultant. Senior technical position involving engagement and technical leadership within the global LCA team. The client is recognized for delivering complex LCA projects, requiring motivation by leading-edge LCA approaches. They utilize leading technology solutions for LCA activities and continually seek improvements; exploration of new approaches is encouraged. This is a client-facing role requiring technical competence and the ability to manage large projects with clients. The role leads a team of about 6 LCA specialists globally, supported by data visualization specialists, analysts, and software developers. Accountability/Key Responsibilities Providing business value to clients. Performing complex LCAs across diverse projects. Ensuring quality assurance. Effectively communicating sustainability insights. Completing detailed estimates on material flows, ecological footprints, carbon emissions, and other environmental, economic, and social metrics. Managing projects, clients, and team members. Mentoring and training team members to build expertise. Conducting technical research and sharing results. Skills Outstanding analytical skills with experience in LCA and analytical software such as GaBi, openLCA, or SimaPro. At least 5 years of experience in delivering complex LCAs across various markets. Business development and client management skills. Strong communication and consulting skills. STEM Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
