Job Purpose: An opportunity to join an established and growing organization as a Principal LCA Consultant. Senior technical position involving engagement and technical leadership within the global LCA team. The client is recognized for delivering complex LCA projects, requiring motivation by leading-edge LCA approaches. They utilize leading technology solutions for LCA activities and continually seek improvements; exploration of new approaches is encouraged. This is a client-facing role requiring technical competence and the ability to manage large projects with clients. The role leads a team of about 6 LCA specialists globally, supported by data visualization specialists, analysts, and software developers.

Accountability/Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing business value to clients.
  • Performing complex LCAs across diverse projects.
  • Ensuring quality assurance.
  • Effectively communicating sustainability insights.
  • Completing detailed estimates on material flows, ecological footprints, carbon emissions, and other environmental, economic, and social metrics.
  • Managing projects, clients, and team members.
  • Mentoring and training team members to build expertise.
  • Conducting technical research and sharing results.

Skills:

  • Outstanding analytical skills with experience in LCA and analytical software such as GaBi, openLCA, or SimaPro.
  • At least 5 years of experience in delivering complex LCAs across various markets.
  • Business development and client management skills.
  • Strong communication and consulting skills.
  • STEM Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
