Senior Nursery Chef

Exciting opportunityfor a nursery chef!Are you looking for that next step or currently hold a Level 2 Diploma in professional cookery (or equivalent) then this might be the role for you.Integra Educationare currently recruiting for a full timesenior nursery chef for our clientbased in Leigh.This role is35 hours per week (8.30am to 4.30pm) Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch.What the role entails:Plan seasonal menus, and oversee kitchen, equipment, food and service prep.To liaise with Nursery Manager to ensure service is of a high standard and meets the needs of our children.Monitor and review the quality of the food and service provided, achieving good quality product and service on time and within budget.Train, develop, manage and motive the catering team to ensure efficiency.To organise and supervise the nursery kitchen in accordance with and to the standard required by statutory regulations including Safer Food, Better Business Guidance.To visit our sister nursery settings in Leigh and Wigan every month to ensure standardisation of hygiene standards, stock control, paperwork and quality.To develop and oversee the allergy control processes including paperwork to ensure elimination of cross contamination.To support our wider catering teams within the charity to ensure a smooth running …
