A boutique law firm that focuses on Employment matters is looking to hire an interim Employment lawyer to assist on an ad hoc basis. There is also scope to hire on a permanent basis too. The firm is made up of former City lawyers that focuses on Employment law.

There is a steady pipeline of work with around 10 settlement agreements arising weekly. There is also broader project related work conducting employee due diligence for larger well-established organisations. There is a broad scope of work that can be allocated to the incoming candidate depending on their experience.

The ideal candidate needs to have a background in contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

  • Drafting employment contracts for employers
  • Negotiating entry and exits for senior employees
  • Settling agreements
  • Advice in connection with grievance and disciplinary processes
  • HR compliance
  • Dismissal advice and employment tribunals
  • Restrictive covenant and breach of confidence
  • High court enforcement
