Permanent | Variable Hours | 16.25 hours per week | Hyndburn, Burnley and surrounding areas
As a Mobile Catering Assistant, you will travel to different schools in and around the Hyndburn and Burnley area to cover where necessary. Must be willing to train as a kitchen supervisor. Must be able to drive. Mileage allowance is given for this role.
You will work as part of a team in Primary Schools in the Hyndburn and Burnley areas providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.
Key responsibilities:- Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
- Clean all equipment and catering areas
- Willing to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
- Good customer care skills
- Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable
Working Hours/Days:
- Monday to Friday
- Term time only
- 16.25 hours per week minimum, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake
