Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll provide crucial commercial support to our contract and project teams. This includes maintaining commercial information, ensuring compliance with contracts, and collaborating with stakeholders on variations, claims, and payments.
Salary: Based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and award sub-contract packages
- Complete budgets, cash flows, and valuations
- Negotiate with clients and evaluate project claims
- Identify variances and negotiate final accounts
- Maintain accurate reporting and deadlines
Internal Relationships:
- Support commercial, estimators, and support staff
- Ensure effective interaction between teams
Key Measures & Targets:
- Accurate monthly forecasting
- Challenge resources and costs
- Maintain deadlines
Key Relationships:
- Commercial/Contracts Managers, Business Development
- Purchasing/Procurement
Reporting:
- Report on contract financial performance
- Ensure accurate cost/value reporting
- Manage cash flows and forecasts
Processes:
- Ensure adherence to commercial processes

External Relationships:
- Ensure appropriate contract terms
