We are looking for an enthusiastic Supplier Quality Engineer student to join our team specializing in Quality for our Corporate Categories SQE department in Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an industry expert and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 4th August 2025. It is a 100% remote role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in Functional Excellence initiatives, collaborating with other Business Units to share processes, tools, and resources to achieve business goals.
  • Work with suppliers on Quality Performance and Data Analysis.
  • Engage in Supplier Interactions, Communication, and Relationship Building.
  • Read, understand, and communicate technical drawings and specifications.
  • Gain experience across various teams and categories.
  • Contribute to IT/Systems/Simulation projects aligned with Industry and Supplier Quality Digital Transformations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be working towards a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or a relevant STEM field.
  • Have understanding of Microsoft Office, including Teams.
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus, but full training will be provided.
  • Possess excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Have a positive attitude, strong motivation, and be a good team player.
