Sustainability Consultant – BREEAM Birmingham CTJ31 £40,000 – £48,000 This is a great opportunity for a qualified BREEAM Assessor or BREEAM AP to become part of a medium sized multidisciplinary consultancy based in Birmingham. You will become part of structured, passionate, and employee-owned company that has a fantastic reputation in the construction industry. The role: Lead BREEAM assessments from pre-assessment through to post-construction stages Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to achieve sustainability targets Oversee evidence gathering and manage credit submissions for certification Keep current with sustainability legislation and BREEAM guidelines Offer expert advice on sustainability throughout all phases of a projectThe ideal candidate will: Be a licenced BREEAM Assessor or hold their AP accreditation Have experience conducting BREEAM Assessments Knowledge and experience of any of the following schemes is beneficial; Home Quality Mark (HQM), BREEAM Communities, SKA, WELL, Fitwel, CEEQUAL and DREAM Awareness and knowledge of industry regulations and sector initiatives including net zero carbon, LETI, NABERS etc Knowledge and experience of working on embodied carbon Life Cycle Assessments (beneficial) Team player capable of working in a multi-discipline environment Experience of working with multiple design teams and clients on a variety of projectsBenefits: Contributory pen…
