We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our experienced Sales team. Ideally located in the East of England, East Midlands or Yorkshire Region, the Business Development Manager will provide day-to-day Sales Activity to AGFA IT Solutions customers, prospects, and the AGFA HE organization.
Acting as a single point of contact for customers and prospects for AGFA IT Solution products & services, the BDM is responsible for:
- Creating a territory plan and strategy
- Coordinating and controlling the sales process
- Managing prospect and client expectations
- Negotiating contracts
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and executing a strategic territory plan
- Focusing on establishing new business relationships with non-AGFA clients
- Acting as a single point of contact for assigned customer base for AGFA IT solutions
- Accompanying prospective customers from first contact to contract closing
- Qualifying accounts and opportunities
- Accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly business
- Maintaining and updating the internal Sales Management tool
- Managing customer and prospect relationships
- Negotiating with customers and prospects
- Negotiating service contracts
- Explaining and demonstrating the sold products/solutions and thinking strategically with the customer
- Coordinating and controlling sales processes
- Serving as the sales contact during hand-over from sales to services
- Assisting the service manager during proposal and negotiation phases for SMA
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of sales or pre-sales experience within Healthcare IT and/or Radiology
- Proven experience in account/business development, new business sales, clinical system sales, cardiology, radiology sales, IT sales to the healthcare market
- Knowledge of the NHS is essential
- A background in healthcare or IT sales is an advantage
