HSEQ Manager
Home Based – Travel across Midlands, North West, and Northern Region

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a specialist civil engineering & highways principal contractor, to lead the Health & Safety across the Northern region across the UK. This position will report into the Head of HSEQ and will be a hands on position but also support with the implantation of the HSEQ strategy across site teams.
The HSEQ (Health & Safety) Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the Health & Safety team and promoting a positive health & safety culture
- Responsible for providing accurate data to leadership and using the data to make improvements for the future
- Creating and implementation of a 5 year health & safety strategy
- Leading on incidents and accident investigations when required.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to operational staff, acting as the ‘competent person’ for HSEQ
The HSEQ (Health & Safety) Manager will have:
- 5 years' experience working in Health & Safety
- Previous experience working in civil engineering, highways would be desirable
- NEBOSH Certificate minimum, ideally working towards a Diploma or equivalent
- Happy to work in a home-based position with travel across a large region.
