About the Role
As Head of Technology Operations, you will report directly to the Head of Technology and work closely with peers across Software, Architecture, PMO, and Broadcast. You will lead a distributed team across end-user computing, infrastructure, cloud operations, application support, incident management, and outsourced service desk functions. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on maintaining platform stability, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating across technology teams to support business-critical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve IT Operations including infrastructure, CI/CD, middleware, and DevOps (90% Azure-based).
- Ensure smooth delivery of corporate applications, service desk support, security posture, and EUC.
- Lead operational change across environments supporting real-time, data-heavy systems.
- Maintain and improve reliability of 24/7 platforms – when the tech goes down, the business stops.
- Partner with development, broadcast, and architecture teams to streamline collaboration and shared infrastructure use.
About You
- Proven leadership in mission-critical tech ops – ideally with experience in always-on environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure), CI/CD tooling, and modern dev practices.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams spanning software, infra, and support.
