I am currently recruiting on behalf of an Automotive OEM, based in Crewe, who are seeking a Supplier Quality Senior Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As Supplier Quality Senior Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
- Delivery of Parts Quality planning tools in line with project gateways
- Lessons learnt
- Risk assessments of parts content
- Facilitation and reporting of QTR activities
- Application of Quality planning tools QPN-i
- Part Maturation, Approval and Capacity analysis
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Significant experience and knowledge of Engineering across multiple commodities or as a specialist in one commodity.
- Significant experience in automotive supplier quality management either at a supplier or OEM and deemed an expert.
- Demonstrable track record and significant experience of management systems and processes to mature parts and resolve technical problems related to parts quality from suppliers.
- Significant experience and demonstrable track record of quality planning and deemed an expert.
- Track record of delivering QA standards related to parts QA against time & cost constraints.
- Computer literate with excellent presentation skills to board level.
