Software Engineer in Test (Manchester)

We\’re Hiring: Multiple SDET Roles

Location: Manchester City Centre (5 days on-site, UK-based only)

Salary Range: £45,000 – £55,000 + bonus + perks

We’re partnering with a market-leading SaaS company that’s expanding its high-performing

autonomous product team — and we’re hiring several SDETs to help shape the future of their QA capability.

Whether you’re already operating at Principal level or stepping up from a Mid/Senior role, this is a brilliant chance to make a significant impact. You\’ll be part of a tight-knit QA function embedded within cross-functional teams, helping to craft robust automation frameworks and mentor engineers across the QA spectrum.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborating with mid-level QA engineers to drive automation best practices
• Building and enhancing automation frameworks — Playwright preferred, but Cypress is welcome too
• Playing a key role in testing strategy, tooling decisions, and Agile delivery

Ideal experience:

• Strong background in automation with Playwright and/or Cypress
• Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers
• Passion for quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
