Role Purpose

Deliver the indirect Procurement strategy for the site, ensuring alignment with Global Procurement, Programme, and site Operational strategies. Manage a team of Operational and Senior buyers to drive supplier excellence in terms of cost, delivery, and quality of the indirect supply chain servicing the site.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the site indirect purchasing strategy.
  • Work with and influence Global commodity teams, Programmes, and key site stakeholders.
  • Responsible for delivering Global Commodity initiatives on the site.
  • Manage the delivery of site CAPEX projects, collaborating with key stakeholders to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction activities aligned with site cost reduction goals.
  • Ensure proper flow-down of Programme Enabled Customer materials, pricing, and skyline forecasts to suppliers.
  • Oversee all site supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with the Global Commodity team regarding coverage and negotiations.
  • Translate customer programme requirements into supplier contracts, ensuring alignment on key Terms & Conditions.
  • Monitor and improve indirect supplier performance in cost, delivery, and quality.

Requirements

  • BSc degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, or Science.
  • At least 10 years of relevant business experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Procurement Management roles.
  • Experience with an international supply base.
  • Ability to build relationships within a supplier network and understand supplier processes.
  • Proven leadership skills working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Aerospace industry and related technological and commercial trends.
  • Core competencies include analytical skills, decisiveness, customer focus, environmental awareness, organizational sensitivity, planning, results orientation.
