Due to significant project and framework wins we currently have vacancies for ambitious Geo-environmental Consultants and Engineering Geologist Consultants at either Consultant or Senior Consultant level to join our teams in our Derby and Edinburgh offices. These are excellent opportunities for ambitious individuals to join our established Geo-environment & Mining Business Unit of 100 staff across the UK & Ireland.
The Derby and Edinburgh offices provide brownfield redevelopment, ground investigation, geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy services to a broad range of high profile private and public sector clients primarily across the property, water and defence sectors.
The role will include:
- The production of desk-based assessments of site geology, hydrogeology, history and assessment of risk to generate ground models and conceptual site models.
- Geotechnical and contamination ground investigation design, data interpretation and interpretative reporting.
- Ground investigation management and site supervision.
- We would be particularly interested in candidates with experience in the investigation and assessment of PFAS.
- Production of remediation and earthworks strategies and specifications.
- Mining risk assessments.
- Construction phase input including supervision and reviewing earthworks data.
- Input into tendering for projects.
