A Civil Technician is required to join a leading engineering and consultancy based in Wakefield. The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Technician with a passion for innovation and proficiency in Revit. The Civil Technician will work on a range of projects within the Energy sector, including substations, EV stations, and drainage projects, with a commitment to excellence and delivering innovative solutions that shape the future of infrastructure projects.
Position Overview:
- Utilise your extensive experience to lead and contribute to the development of civil engineering designs and models using Revit.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering designs into larger project plans.
- Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to continuously enhance our engineering processes.
Position Requirements:
- Experienced Civils CAD Technician.
- Ideally Substation / Energy experience.
- Knowledge of drainage, highways, and complex foundations essential.
- Proficiency in using Revit for civil engineering design and modelling is essential.
- Strong knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- UK Driving Licence.
- Live in a commutable distance to Wakefield.
