The Role:
- Assisting Purchasing Manager with day to day buying activities
- Work closely with Scheduler to ensure stock availability
- To help implement and maintain Just in Time stock model
- Monitor, Challenge and Report Accuracy of Data Capture (Print & Finishing)
- Keeping monthly reports up to date
- Liaising with site teams, monitoring movements in schedule and delivery dates
- Cover Purchasing manager when on holiday
- Purchasing activities & cover for purchasing manager
- Accurate Data Capture
- Liaising with site teams, monitoring movements in programmes and delivery dates
- Ad hoc projects and procurement tasks as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in stock control
- Demonstrated experience in Purchasing
- Ideally experience in Print/Materials
- Purchasing / Negotiating
- Knowledge/experience of work systems (PACE preferred)
- Strong communication skills. Both written and verbal
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
