The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Hours: 08:30am to 16:30pm, Monday to Friday

The Company:

The Role:

  • Assisting Purchasing Manager with day to day buying activities
  • Work closely with Scheduler to ensure stock availability
  • To help implement and maintain Just in Time stock model
  • Monitor, Challenge and Report Accuracy of Data Capture (Print & Finishing)
  • Keeping monthly reports up to date
  • Liaising with site teams, monitoring movements in schedule and delivery dates
  • Cover Purchasing manager when on holiday
  • Purchasing activities & cover for purchasing manager
  • Accurate Data Capture
  • Liaising with site teams, monitoring movements in programmes and delivery dates
  • Ad hoc projects and procurement tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in stock control
  • Demonstrated experience in Purchasing
  • Ideally experience in Print/Materials
  • Purchasing / Negotiating
  • Knowledge/experience of work systems (PACE preferred)
  • Strong communication skills. Both written and verbal
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
