Junior Camera Engineer

Our client, a film equipment rental company, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Camera Engineer to join our expanding technical team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of professional cinematic camera systems and a keen interest in the unique challenges of multi-camera productions. Key Responsibilities:Prepare, configure, and test high-end camera equipment for shootsConduct thorough technical checks to ensure all gear meets project requirementsSupport warehouse and bookings teams, troubleshoot issues, and maintain clear documentationMentor junior staff and help standardise prep protocolsStay current with the latest camera technology and industry best practicesRequirements:Technical degree or experience working within a similar environment Proven background in film, broadcast, or live eventsStrong technical knowledge of broadcast/cinematic camera systems and accessoriesFamiliarity with multi-camera workflows and live broadcast processesExcellent troubleshooting, organizational, and teamwork skillsThis role is based fully on site at the client\’s office in South London.
