Responsibilities: To prepare tender documentation in respect of façade remediations schemes to mid and high rise buildings. Undertake detailed analysis of exiting building facades and provide technical reports in accordance with current codes of practice and guidance. Provide advice and guidance on design principles and material specifications in relation to the external envelope of multi storey buildings. Negotiate prices and costs in relation to remediation works. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum HNC/HND in Building Technology, Surveying or equivalent in a relevant subject. Current full driving licence. Either currently or working towards full membership of a relevant professional organisation such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Institute of Building, or similar. A current and in date member of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme, or willingness to achieve membership.
