Due to continued growth and success, our client is looking for a motivated Estimator/Sales Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a range of engineering projects by preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse client enquiries, specifications, and purchase orders
- Prepare estimates and quotations for proposal packages
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and project management
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical data
- Ensure all proposals comply with company policies and industry standards
- Manage multiple proposals and meet submission deadlines
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments
What Weβre Looking For:
- Previous experience in estimating and/or technical sales
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of welding, fabrication, and stainless-steel alloys
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Awareness of health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
