The opportunity
Our client, a leading media business, is looking to appoint an External Communications Manager to join their wider Corporate Affairs team. This person will be responsible for key trade media relations and corporate relations across the business, working closely with stakeholders to develop creative and innovative stories.
Main responsibilities
- Develop communications across corporate channels, including newsletters, website, LinkedIn, Twitter, and proactive B2B media relations for stakeholders.
- Develop and execute the corporate and B2B communications strategy for various divisions.
- Manage the press office for internal clients, handle issue management, and highlight key success stories at industry events and awards.
Key skills and experience required
- A strong interest in media, news, and current affairs.
- Experience in delivering high-profile corporate communications and media relations, in an agency or in-house, within technology, media, or telecoms sectors, with the ability to work under pressure.
