Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery used in the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to assemble components and troubleshoot equipment issues. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software and experience with tooling and welding.

Duties

Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production processes.
Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.
Utilise SolidWorks and CAD software for design modifications and improvements.
Perform welding tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production workflows.
Use hand tools effectively for assembly and repairs.
Apply basic maths skills to measure and adjust components accurately.
Troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and other mechanical systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.
Familiarity with tooling processes and techniques is advantageous.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software is desirable.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
Experience with welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting, demonstrating attention to detail and safety awareness.
Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities are crucial for success in this role.
