ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking to expand our pool of freelance resource for online editing. The role is an online finishing role specifically for theatrical, broadcast and social media delivery platforms. This role is strictly for those who have a technical eye for QC’ing via scopes and reviewing edits / conforming. The candidate will need to be available in June and July 2025. The majority of the work involves machine work editing and repeating the process for various countries (not creative editing). As well as localisation for HD Broadcast and online, you will also be finishing and conforming edits via Resolve in 2K theatrical finish, along with applying basic and technical grades.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with our localisation Account Managers, Graphics & Audio teams to produce localised content from TV spots / Trailers / Featurettes / Promos for worldwide territories within film environment.
- Dealing with high volumes of TV spots, social media content and trailer mastering on a daily basis to meet client deadlines.
- Organising clean workflow and ensuring all files are filed and named accurately with regards to projects and delivery content masters.
- Support and work in a team of Online Editors.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Premiere CC (Advanced level)
- Media Encoder CC (Intermediate to Advanced level)
- Davinci Resolve (Intermediate to semi-Advance level)
- RCM Colour space management
- Basic grading / tech grading / Creative grading
- Workflow management of assets
- Match grade in various colour spaces
- The ability to competently read Scopes & QC material before it gets distributed.
- The ability to work fast and efficiently under pressure.
- Understanding of Subtitling workflows with SRT and XML management
- Troubleshoot issues and suggest fast and efficient solutions to finish.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Please note that this is a freelance position and work will be assigned on a temporary basis. This role is inside IR35 regulations, therefore you will be required to be paid via our payroll. This role is based in our office.
