Our latest opening is for a Principal Dams Engineer, to join a supportive & collaborative team delivering innovation & excellence to complex industry challenges. Your role will involve providing technical solutions & advice, with your technical expertise ensuring that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards. Our work spans from front end design to design & build projects, including both new build reservoirs such as Cheddar & SESRO, and existing reservoir maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a global engineering firm that is expanding and growing our Dams team. You will work within professional and collaborative teams all with the same aim of delivering world class solutions for our clients and the communities around us. On a personal level, you will learn and develop, and our goal is to aid your career progression and increase your job satisfaction.
About you
We are interested in speaking with degree qualified Engineers, who have achieved Chartered status with a relevant engineering institution e.g. IEI, ICE, CIWEM. You will have extensive experience in dam engineering, hydraulic stresses & hydropower and ideally have achieved Supervising Engineer accreditation, though support can be provided to achieve this. Preferably, you’ll have previous consultancy experience, along with experience managing civil engineers and co-ordinating with other technical professionals to achieve holistic technical outcomes. Most importantly, you’ll embody our values and ethos of client focus and service excellence.
