High Level Technician

TXM Recruit are working exclusively with a rail manufacturing and maintenance business who are looking for 2 x System Technicians to help with the introduction of a new locomotive fleetAbout the Role – Based out of Leicester but travel within a 4 hour window around Leicester required frequently as part of working shift. UK wide travel required from time to timeResponsibilities:Shift pattern to include days / nights / weekends (shift TBD)Extensive travel required as part of training programme (to include UK sites + European travel)Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification or Advanced Modern Apprenticeship requiredFull sentinel medical / D+A requiredCandidates will be required trackside mainlineInterview 2 stage process (Teams initial followed by site visit and practical test)£45,000 initial basic salary rising to £48,000 + 20% shift allowance applicable from commencement of employmentRequired Skills:High Level Technician – Role will include mobile response/fault finding and VMI examsPassenger or Rail Freight experience essentialElectrical biased preferred (70% elec / 30% mech is ideal)Test & Commissioning experienceFault finding / fault diagnostics
