Lenovo is currently seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Consultant (DTC) who will develop comprehensive, creative and cost-effective services solutions for our customers to help transform and modernize their environment. Successful candidates will evaluate customer opportunities as presented in RFPs/RFQs or engagements, from the Services Sales teams and use this information to develop solutions to meet customer’s requirements. Lenovo solutions may incorporate one or more lifecycle services including Digital Workplace Services (DWS), Device as a Service (DaaS), Professional and Managed Services and any additional endpoint lifecycle/management services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide endpoint management and lifecycle and information technology expertise.
- Travel to and facilitate workshops with customers to analyze customer processes and environments, help shape their requirements and develop overall solution recommendations, including total cost of ownership assessments and business cases.
- Partner across multiple organizations including, but not limited to, sales; finance; service delivery; customers and business partners and contribute to all elements of the services sales cycle from the project kickoff; stakeholder coordination and end solution strategy.
- Contribute to customer presentations and briefings, provide input during deal qualification reviews, and prepare content for solution reviews with key stakeholders as required.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects on the development of business cases, and commercial contracts with both the selected business partner and the customer.
- Promote, sell, manage pipeline and contribute to the overall business management systems within the Solutions and Services group.
- Contribute to the ongoing education of our sales force through consistent and frequent interactions as well as contributing content and customer feedback to the worldwide Lenovo Services portfolio group.
Position Requirements:
- 8 years of Contract Management, SOW’s, Business Development, Professional Services, Project Management and/or IT Services operations experience.
- Consulting experience - collaborating, scoping, planning, and executing workshops, building agendas, whiteboarding, Agile processes, design thinking, report writing, and ability to create and articulate a business case.
- Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in IT Services Industry focused on DWS Solutions.
- Understanding of typical IT client infrastructures, tools and associated endpoint lifecycle/management activities and ability to generate and communicate associated services value propositions.
- Familiarity with and understanding of endpoint device management solutions and industry best practices.
- Proven success in building solutions in the IT services industry.
- Strategic mindset and sound business acumen are required, along with effective decision making, contract negotiation and partner management skills.
- Excellent communication, both oral and written, and polished presentation skills.
- Proficient with common whiteboarding tools and has the capability to run customer workshops virtually using appropriate collaboration technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Proven ability to operate with a high level of professionalism; entrepreneurialism and agility.
- Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization with a teaming attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Travel estimated at 40%.

- MBA or Advanced technical degree.
- Technical certification from Microsoft, Virtualization tools, endpoint management tools and ITIL.
