Are you an experienced IBA professional looking for your next challenge in the London insurance market? We’re on the lookout for a highly organized and detail-oriented IBA Client Account Handler to join our dynamic team.

Role Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

Location: Remote working from within the UK

Salary: £45,000 > £50,000 + Bonus & Benefits

We are partnered with a global information technology company with a strong foothold and a focused division within the insurance industry. If you have at least 3 years of experience in a London Market broking house, a strong grasp of insurance accounting, and top-tier reconciliation skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities for the IBA Client Account Handler will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing client and insurer accounts in line with regulatory and company standards
  • Handling account reconciliations and swiftly resolving queries
  • Accurately allocating cash receipts and payments
  • Collaborating with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintaining and reconciling client and insurer ledgers
  • Supporting month-end and year-end financial closings
  • Proactively managing aged debt and unallocated cash
  • Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations
  • Using GXB (Global XB) or similar broking/accounting platforms (a big plus!)

Skills required for the IBA Client Account Handler will include but are not limited to:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IBA role within the London insurance market
  • Solid knowledge of IBA accounting, reconciliation, and cash allocation
  • Familiarity with GXB or equivalent broking platforms is highly desirable
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and high level of numeracy
  • Working knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards

Added skills which would be beneficial are:

  • Experience in a fast-paced broking environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
