Reporting to the CMO, you will lead our product marketing strategy, crafting compelling narratives and driving go-to-market plans to achieve business growth, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing a small team of product marketers. While this is a senior role, the ideal candidate will need to be hands-on and willing to execute both strategically and tactically as the company is scaling rapidly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product positioning and differentiation: Leading efforts to define and refine the unique value propositions of our products and solutions, ensuring they stand out in the market and resonate with target customers.
  • Competitive analysis: Conducting in-depth analysis of competitors’ products, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics to identify areas of opportunity and inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Product messaging: Crafting clear, compelling, and consistent messaging across all marketing channels and materials to effectively communicate our products’ value propositions.
  • Product launch strategy: Developing strategies for successful product launches, including setting launch timelines, coordinating with internal teams, and implementing go-to-market plans to drive adoption.
  • Customer insights and feedback: Gathering and analysing customer feedback, market research data, and user insights to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points, and use this information to inform product marketing strategies and product roadmap decisions.
  • Sales enablement: Creating sales enablement materials such as product collateral and sales decks to educate our Sales teams and support Sales efforts.
  • Tracking performance: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of product marketing efforts. Using this data to inform future tweaks to strategies.
  • Pricing strategy: Partner with pricing teams to develop and refine pricing strategies to ultimately improve revenue and profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues in marketing, product management, sales and customer success teams. Organize and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure launch readiness. Ensure seamless product launches and ongoing product support.
  • Team management: Manage a small team of product marketers to deliver against targets, ensuring they have the guidance and support needed to help them achieve their potential and deliver even more value within their roles.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years’ experience in product marketing, ideally with a track record of success in a similar role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the procurement function and target market, i.e. senior procurement professionals in large enterprises as well as knowledge of the global procuretech landscape.
  • Leadership: Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform marketing decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with marketing technologies and tools, including interest or experience in AI tools to support content creation.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is desirable.
