Focus on WD are seeking skilled Workday Integrations Lead to join a Workday Customer who are live the Workday HCM system on a full time, permanent basis.

Location: UK (3 Days per week on-site in London)

Salary: £85,000 – £100,000 + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Integrations Lead to join the Workday/Technical team. As the subject matter expert for Workday integrations, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of integrations between Workday and a range of internal and external systems. You will play a key role in driving integration strategy and best practices across the HR technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Workday integrations, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Act as the go-to Workday Integrations specialist within the business being a critical member of the team with the over-arching view of the integrations landscape.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and other Workday tools.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and provide ongoing technical support and optimisation.
  • Maintain integration documentation and follow internal change management and security protocols.
  • Serve as the Workday integration SME, mentoring junior team members and supporting integration-related governance.
  • Manage vendor relationships for third-party platforms requiring integration with Workday.
  • Stay current with Workday updates, releases, and new integration capabilities.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience (3+ years) working on Workday integrations in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • The ability to act as the go-to Workday Integrations specialist within the business providing both technical and strategic expertise.
  • Solid understanding of HCM and Payroll modules within Workday.
  • The ability to champion and promote best practice and increase Workday Technical Knowledge and capability across a Global Workday landscape.
  • Experience managing complex integration landscapes across global environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Workday certification(s) in Integration or Studio highly desirable.
