This job is for an Energy & Asset Management Director to help shape the future of our Facilities Services Advisory business. This new leadership role will focus on expanding our consultancy services across energy management, asset strategy, IoT, and net zero - combining commercial awareness with technical credibility.
You will work alongside a capable energy team, focusing on growing our market presence, winning new work, and taking ownership of client relationships. This is an ideal step for someone currently working in a consultancy or advisory capacity who is looking to build something of their own with the backing of an established, reputable organisation.
This role offers genuine autonomy, along with the support, tools, and collaborative environment to thrive. You will be joining at an exciting moment, with the freedom to shape the direction of the business and grow your own name in the market while driving meaningful impact for our clients.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
- Set the strategic direction for our Advisory business and lead its growth across core technical services
- Develop new client relationships, lead on work-winning, and position us strongly in the consultancy market
- Build our presence in energy, asset management, and the emerging net zero space
- Own and shape product offerings in response to changing client and market needs
- Work closely with the wider energy team to deliver strategies you’ve developed
- Support and mentor colleagues, helping to build a high-performing consultancy culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrable experience in consultancy or advisory within the built environment
- A strong grasp of energy management, net zero, IoT, BMS, or FM
- Proven experience developing client strategies and turning them into successful delivery
- Someone commercially sharp, with confidence around business development, pipeline growth, and P&L
- A hands-on leader who sees the opportunity in a blank page and wants to make a mark with a new team
