Actively contribute to growing the size and developing the technical capability of the mine waste team. Have a high degree of autonomy in managing your workload and receive recognition for your contributions to delivering multi-disciplinary projects. Help deliver projects and develop new business in Spain and Latin America. Work with a capable and experienced team to provide support as a mine waste specialist within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver complex projects. Develop good relationships with existing clients and build new ones to grow the business. Establish and elevate your reputation among international professionals, with potential to become a recognized leader in mine waste within a diverse, growing international company. To succeed, you should demonstrate: A relevant Geotechnical qualification, either Chartered or eligible, with a specialization in Tailings Engineering and significant experience within a Geotechnical Consultancy. The ability to lead projects from concept through feasibility to final design and implementation, providing guidance to clients. Fluency in French or Spanish, excellent report writing and communication skills in English, and the ability to prepare proposals, reports, and design documents. Experience managing, leading, and mentoring teams, and delivering both geotechnical and multidisciplinary projects. A full UK driving license. It would be advantageous if you also have: Knowledge of mining standards such as GISTM, ANCOLD, CDA, etc. Experience in water management and water balance modeling. Experience with geotechnical software like GeoStudio or Plaxis. Experience acting as Deputy Engineer or Designer of Record for tailings facilities.
