Job Title: Customer Liaison Representative (Link & Hive)

Reports to: Corporate Account Manager Front of House, with day-to-day duties to report to Supervisor

Location: BAE Systems, Brough

Purpose

This role provides high-quality service to our customers by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. You will be the first point of contact, creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere. The role involves managing visitor flow, ensuring adherence to policies, answering calls, reviewing bookings via the Matrix system, and supporting senior management and supervisors.

The Customer Liaison also facilitates building visits, manages area seating, reports defects, and maintains high standards. Attention to detail and understanding customer needs are essential.

Hours of Work

38.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, covering 07:30 – 17:30 in two shift patterns, and Friday 07:30 – 12:00. Shift patterns depend on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and checking in customers
  • Booking desks and rooms, managing attendee lists
  • Coordinating with facilities, security, and cleaners
  • Supporting AV setup and troubleshooting
  • Maintaining room and desk checks, distributing equipment
  • Supporting visitors, fire marshal, and first aid roles
  • Managing bookings, no-shows, and communication via email
  • Reporting faults, monitoring supplies, and facilitating building operations
  • Supporting events and off-site visitors
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance and building checks
  • Supporting the team with additional tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Team player with strong customer service skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety policies
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with booking systems is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • At least 2 years in a customer service or training role is preferred
  • Able to gain SC clearance
