Job Title: Social Worker or Senior Social Worker

Location: Norwich | Grade J/K | Permanent Contract | 37 hours/week | Salary: £38,626 – £46,732 per annum | Reference: 8267

Introduction

We are proud of our Social Work Teams and value all practitioners. Norfolk is implementing a new operating model for Family Help, aligning with national initiatives to improve outcomes for children and families through early intervention and collaborative working.

Team Structure and Working Approach

  1. Family Help comprises multidisciplinary teams, including Social Workers, Family Support Workers, Specialist Practitioners, Assistant Managers, and Team Managers.
  2. Cases are managed collectively by prevention and protection teams, focusing on early targeted interventions.
  3. This approach has led to reduced intervention times and paperwork, benefiting both practitioners and families.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Social Workers registered with Social Work England
  • Experience in Child Protection, Assessments, and Court Work
