Petroplan is seeking a Principal Offshore Structural Engineer for a permanent position in Surrey. The role offers a negotiable base salary, full staff benefits, parking/shuttle bus, and hybrid working arrangements.
The Principal Technical Professional - Offshore Structural will support the lead engineer in preparing engineering deliverables within the assigned scope. This involves liaising with clients and third-party contractors, coordinating with project team members across global offices to deliver tasks within specified timelines and budgets.
Requirements:
- Degree in Structural Engineering
- Design Experience in conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering of offshore platforms and FPSOs
- Strong technical and practical engineering skills, with a track record of delivering quality work on schedule
- Proficiency in SESAM GENIE and the SESAM software suite
Desirable:
- Experience with ABAQUS and USFOS for non-linear FEA
