JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker

LOCATION: Paignton, Devon TQ4

SALARY: Β£13.60 – Β£14.20 per hour

HOURS: 40 hours per week

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Monteray View.

If you are a Support Worker with an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values, this may be the role for you!

About Paignton

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join our brand-new supported living service in Paignton. We believe in the potential of each person we support, and we enable them to work towards their goals, live more independently and take control of their lives. We listen and understand what each person would like to achieve in life. We then work closely with them, their family, circle of support and other professionals to define goals and how we can work together to achieve them.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
