Location: Secondary School, Harlow - Essex

Employment Type: Full-Time – 7.30am – 4pm - Must be able to do these hours

Start Date: Long term contract starting ASAP

Salary: £15 per hour PAYE

About The Role

We are seeking a professional, approachable, and organised individual to join a busy secondary school as a Temporary Receptionist. This is a key role within the school, providing the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.

As a Receptionist, you will manage telephone and face-to-face enquiries, maintain accurate pupil records, and ensure all sign-in and sign-out procedures are followed. You will also support day-to-day administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and distributing post. A tidy, welcoming reception area and a high level of confidentiality are essential to the role.

Excellent communication skills, a warm manner, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment are a must. If you enjoy working as part of a team and are passionate about supporting a positive school experience for all, we’d love to hear from you.
