Kitchen Porter, Mayfield Garden Centre

We are looking for a Full Time ##employmenttype## Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in MayfieldGarden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this role are 35 per week over 5 days. All positions include weekendworking so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.

What you will be doing as a Kitchen Porter?

• Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
• Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins
• Take care to avoid breakages
• Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
