Job Description:

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy hospital in Warwick. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service.

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy, able to cut over 30 blocks per hour to a high standard, alongside having experience in embedding and staining. On a day-to-day basis, you will support the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and guide junior members of staff.

Essential Requirements for This Position:

• HCPC registered
• UK NHS or private sector Histology laboratory experience
