This Consultancy has deep roots in the region excelling in the quality of services it provides by its dedicated teams of experienced and developing professionals led by an involved supportive management team.
As a senior member of staff, your responsibilities shall include, but shall not be limited to:
- Leading single and multi-discipline projects.
- Providing technical support and managing the technical accuracy and delivery of those below you.
- Managing Graduate, Assistant Engineers and Trainee Technicians and developing their training towards Chartership.
- Client care and development.
- Preparing project resource schedules.
- Project cost control and effective management of project resources.
You will be involved in all stages of building engineering projects from strategy evaluation and concept development to detailed design and contract administration.
To apply for this position you must hold an accredited degree in structural engineering and should be a Chartered ideally with the IStructE or working towards. You should have extensive experience of working within a Consultancy, and working to British Standards. You should be commercially aware, ambitious and ideally should have some experience of team management. Also contacts in the local marketplace would be advantageous.
