SC Cleared Technical Lead - Programme Transformation

Role: Technical Lead Clearance: SC Cleared Location: Mostly remote with occasional client visits in London Day Rate: £600 p/d Inside IR35 Duration: Initial 6 months We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership across a major government IT transformation programme. Key experience: Familiarity with central government, public sector or regulated environments. Background in software engineering, architecture, or enterprise infrastructure. Experience leading major tech programmes (CTO, Principal Engineer, Head of Architecture, etc.). Proven capabilityworking across complex stakeholder landscapes. Strong grasp of DevSecOps, Agile delivery, and digital platform operations. Strategic understanding of enterprise IT, cyber security, and IT governance. Comfortable aligning people, process, and platforms to enable change at scale.
