The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Birmingham. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, with a competitive hourly rate of £30 – £35 p/h. The role is initially for a duration that is ongoing, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will conduct comprehensive respiratory and sleep studies.
- You will analyze and interpret test results.
- You will provide accurate and timely reports.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- You will educate patients and their families about respiratory and sleep disorders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: Clinical PFT/LFT experience. Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist. Band 6 or 7 with reporting experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience within the NHS.
- Desirable: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
