We are looking for a talented Sr. Product Manager (PM) for Amazon. The Sr. PM will be the key link between Market Place product and business/operations teams in LatAm. The PM will lead the Product Launches, coordinating across stakeholders, building working backwards and business requirements documents, addressing blockers and creating feature strategy. The PM will work closely with various stakeholders (Program, Sales, Operations, Transportation, Legal, etc) to drive strategic initiatives that will have a positive impact on our Customers and Sellers. He/She will review performance on metrics, contribute to programmatic inputs and ensure accountability for strategic and tactical initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify gaps, pain points and opportunities in the existing products, coordinating across multiple input sources.
  • Dive Deep on issues to differentiate isolated issues from structural ones.
  • Being creative to create solutions that address pain points/opportunities and improve Customer/Seller Experience.
  • Balance competing priorities, making the best use of our resources.
  • Calculate impact/potential of ideas/pain points, making it tangible.
  • Influence and support Product team (both Latam and central teams) on Roadmap prioritization.
  • Suggest/create programmatic solutions and initiatives while creating business cases for Product team.
  • Balancing short and long term solutions.
  • Leading product launches, coordinating across stakeholders from different orgs and levels and leading by influence.
  • Organize working backwards plans, mapping all tasks and questions that need to be answered. Map risks and risk mitigation, adoption plan and guarantee launches’ success.
  • Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership.
  • Creating goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives.
  • Communicating performance, articulating root-cause analysis and linking to specific improvement areas.
  • Incorporate benchmarking information from local competitors as well as best practices and lessons learned from other geographies to define best-in-class customer experience.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end to end product delivery.
  • Experience as a product manager or owner.
  • English proficiency: Advanced (written and spoken).
  • Advanced Excel: complex formulas, proficient in data analysis using Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, data visualization skills, Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot for data management, Ability to automate tasks using Macros, Knowledge of advanced Excel features like What-If Analysis, Goal Seek, and Solver, Expertise in data linking and integrating.
