Sales Executive job based in Guildford, Surrey, for a multi-award-winning B2C/B2B Events company, focused on the health and wellbeing sector. The role will be selling event sponsorship, digital solutions and event space for their US active division portfolio. Having trebled in size in the last 3 years, they are now looking to expand their sales team further and you will have every chance to progress as they continue to grow. There is international travel required to attend their own and competitor events in the US, UK and internationally. Event or Media Sales experience is preferred alongside a passion for the outdoors, fitness, sports or health and wellbeing sectors.
About the role:
- Selling exhibition space, sponsorship and digital solutions
- Manage all incoming enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Generating new business opportunities
- Managing and upselling on existing accounts / rebooks
- Managing the full sales process through to close
- Face to face meetings with clients
- Sales related administration
- Efficient use of the CRM system and accurately inputting data
- Attending company events and competitor shows in the US, UK and internationally
The ideal candidate:
- 1+ year experience in Event Sales and / or Media Sales
- 2+ years' experience in B2B Sales
- Passion for the events and / or sports, outdoors, active, health & wellbeing sector
- Must have experience in generating new business as well as nurturing existing accounts
- Ability to generate own leads and effectively follow up on incoming leads
- Consultative sales approach
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to travel internationally and overnight stays away will be required on some weekends for events with time back in lieu
Benefits:
- Salary £26,000 - £30,000
- 30% of salary (Uncapped)
