LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit full-time Support Workers to join our learning disabilities team across Newcastle. As a Support Worker you will support people to live happy and fulfilled lives within their local communities.

Ensuring individual support needs are met through person-centred tailored support that promotes choice, independence and their voice.

Pay: £12.25 p/hr (non-complex rate) – £12.80 p/hr (complex rate)

Bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, up to £300 Refer a Friend, up to £400 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher.

We have various Support Worker roles available:

  • Male Support Workers – Across Newcastle working within various services.
  • Full and part time roles – Shifts vary but our recruitment team will discuss this with you further.
  • Weekend working on a rota basis.

  • Be Proud: Support the person to become as independent as they can, making their own choices, decisions and managing their finances.

Training

  • Paid induction training: classroom-based, includes shadowing and additional online modules.
  • Additional Specialist Training: provided to all new recruits – equipping you to meet the needs of the people we support and enabling you to provide person-centred approach.
  • Training development: funded Level 3 and other accredited courses.
